Charing and Len welcomes Irv Ackelsberg, public interest lawyer and former candidate for the 8th District City Council seat, who has become a major Philadelphia's voice for consumer justice, combating predatory financial services, saving homes from foreclosure, challenging SEPTA fare hikes, advocating for community-college based adult education instead of rip-off trade schools and standing up for neighborhoods against negative development. Recently, Ackelsberg made headlines for successfully fighting the proposed closure of 11 public libraries.

We'll discuss libraries, SEPTA and what ever else comes up.
